Paintball is predominately a man’s game, but I have my niche of female friends who love to play. Women players may be far and few between, but when we play, we play for blood. I must say the most annoying aspect of playing paintball with guys is that they feel they must play differently with us. They have to be kinder and gentler, being cautious not to “hurt” us.
If I had a problem with pain and running around the woods getting dirty, I wouldn’t be grabbing my paintball air tank and marker every other weekend. I don’t want to be treated like one of the girls. Treat me like one of the boys and unleash all your fury. I’m competitive in general, so don’t think you’re doing me a favor when you let me win. My small stature and secret ninja skills come in quite handy so I have no problem kicking butt out on the paintball field.
Even if you’re taking your girlfriend out to the field for the first time, she doesn’t want to be treated like a baby. She wants to know you respect her. The only way she’ll have a good time is if you treat her just the same. So to all the men, I say bring it on!
I have to say I know acouple of female payers and trust me you cant go ease on them! One player (Stacy from the Yuma Rattlers Pump Team) is one person you dont want to go upp against. She is probebly the best player i have ever played against and has no problem of litghing you up!
