When it comes to setting up a paintball team, you want a variety of people you can do different things. And you yourself want to establish a role for yourself. Being a paintball sniper means being an integral part of the team. It can also be a fun way to play that’s different from the typical. You need patience, confidence, and the ability to play much of the game alone. You need to be a great shot and be able to conceal yourself for as long as possible. There is no marker that’s going to automatically hit every target, you have to just be still and focused to work as a good sniper.
You can either be a forward sniper or a rear sniper, depending on strategy. A forward sniper moves ahead of the team, planting themselves in a spot where they can see the enemy coming, hopefully taking them out before they reach the rest of your teammates. Being a rear sniper means you watch the backs of your teammates effectively, helping them out where they need it and taking out opponents if it seems they are being rushed by too many targets.
A great sniper is going to really turn the tide of the team, so if you have what it takes, go for it!
