There are rumors circulating that Tom Cole has resigned as Commissioner of the NPPL. This would be after about a year’s worth of work in the role. Cole is one of the more recognizable people in the paintball industry. He started at age 17 and eventually formed the paintball team Bad Company, which ranked in the top five in the pro-division of the NPPL from 1993.

In 2011 Cole accepted the position of Commissioner of the NPPL in place of Chuck Hendsch. Before his tenure in this position, Cole ran the NPPL as President from 1993 to 2001.

In his time with the NPPL he was instrumental to the growth and expansion of the league. However in his tenure he also worked with the Ultimate Woodsball League (UWL) since he owns and operates it.  The UWL is still at the top for woodsball series in the country. He will continue to promote the UWL in 2012 and that there is potential for the PSP to bring him on board as well.

In other words, he’s not going anywhere folks even if these rumors end up being reality. You can stand at ease. Tom Cole will be a part of the paintball industry for a long, long time.
